Looking at our work - Day 3 - Industry Standard

Today, I was thinking about industry standards.  Is there any one person that decides the standards a particular industry follows?  For example, in the service industry, who outlines how a customer should be treated?  The answer is simple - we do!  Customers throughout time have determined the acceptable level of service for the people who are meeting their needs.  As a result, companies that do not adhere to the "standard" are eventually forced out of business.  They close because they lose customers and they run out of money.  When we are fair to our customers and establish reasonable boundaries for service, then our work becomes successful.

Are you being a fair and reasonable customer? Are you being a fair and reasonable business owner?  Knowing that the one person you truly work for is God, are you following God's business plan for your work?
